Apple Day
We're going to be back at Cressing Temple Barns on 11th October 2026 for Apple Day. It's lots of fun for all the family and we hope to see you there.
Festival of Archaeology and Heritage
We had a fabulous day at the Festival of Archaeology and Heritage at the beautiful Cressing Temple Barns. Lots of people stopped for a chat, and young archaeologists could dig for "treasure".
Surveying a potential site
We are often invited to survey sites of potential archaeological interest. This survey took place in June 26. On this occasion we didn't find much, but we'll head back to check again when digging conditions improve. It was still a great day to be out in the woods.
Training day at Purleigh
For those of you who can remember back a few weeks, there were some really wet days in June. Here we are, getting soaked on a training day, where we got to use the metal detectors and develop an understanding of surveying a potential site.
